Jensen Memorial Library is expanding the services they offer to patrons. Technology is the focus as they reintroduce technology training classes and initiate more opportunities to help customers become more tech savvy.
“We did some one-on-one tech classes with a previous staff member. Then he left and we’ve been in limbo since,” Library Director Janene Hill said. “We wanted to be able to offer computer classes and safety workshops that would help people with technology because it can be intimidating.”
Hiring Josiah Heun was the first step in the library’s goal to bring technology instruction back to their patrons. The Technology Trainer is well versed in a wide array of computer programs and is confident working with a variety of devices. Although he is new to Jensen Memorial Library, he has enough experience to lend him credibility.
