The “Friday LIVE” arts and entertainment radio show will broadcast statewide live for the first time from the Minden Opera House at 9 a.m., Friday, March 16 on NET, Nebraska’s PBS & NPR Stations. Those in the area are invited to be part of the live radio audience as this event is free and includes refreshments beginning at 8:30 a.m. at 322 E. Fifth St. in Minden.
Live performances will showcase local talent including singer and songwriter Cindy Boehler of Alma, the Hastings band Gracie’s Uncles as well as the popular Austrian cross-over chamber group Janoska Ensemble who will also be performing at The Tassel in Holdrege that evening.
“These performers are amazing and we’re in for a special morning with this classically-trained chamber quartet which blends in tango and other popular music, Cindy’s original country tunes and the folk-rock-bluegrass music of Gracie’s Uncles,” said host Genevieve Randall of NET.
