Irene M. Hogeland, 94 years of age from Minden passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Long Term Care Unit of Kearney County Health Services in Minden.
Irene was born on Jan. 5, 1923 in Jackson County, Minn., to Christian and Anna (Shulz) Petersen.
She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and the family moved to Nebraska when Irene was four years of age. Irene was confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Upland.
