Ruth Day - August 05, 2016

Ruth Marie Day, 87, of Miller, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 at Good Samaritan Society – St. John’s in Kearney.
Ruth was born April 23, 1929 to Samuel and Bessie (Baker) Jorgensen at their home near Heartwell.
She attended country school in the Heartwell area then the family moved north of Minden where she attended country school then graduated from Minden High School in 1947. She attended Kearney State College and obtained her teaching certificate and taught school at Lowell District 17 then taught at Grandview School northeast of Miller.
