Dale Norseen - November 30, 2012

Dale G. Norseen, 86, of Minden, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Bryan LGH Hospital in Lincoln of complications following surgery.
Dale was born April 3, 1926, to G. Reuben and Elin Blomstrand Norseen in Loup City.
He graduated from Loup City High School and served with the United States Army.

He worked for the telephone company for many years, then later farmed near Minden. He is fondly remembered as the yodeling school bus driver and the Minden Public Schools’ transportation supervisor. He loved spending time with his family and never forgot how to play with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his gentle spirit, his yodeling, and his love of music and dancing.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Marcelyn Holmes, and husband, Douglas, of Kearney; Tamara Petersen, and husband, Bruce, of Minden; and son, Brent, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; grandchildren, William, Andrew, Elizabeth and Samuel Holmes; Lukas, Elin and Benjamin Petersen; Brenden, Hanna and Brock Norseen, Kaytlen Norseen Driesen, and husband, Lukas; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings including his twin brother, Dean.
