Supervisors Address County Deputy Shortage PDF Print E-mail

The Kearney County Board of Supervisors held their first regular meeting of the month on February 5. Kearney County Health Services CEO Luke Poore and CFO Kayla Rhynalds presented a hospital update to the board.
Rhynalds provided a look at the statistical and financial standings of the hospital from July through December. Although the facility is still operating at a $20,000 loss, the situation is vastly improved and is the best it has been in years. She also reported a record number of patients being seen in the clinic during the month of January.
Poore explained the new Senior Life Solutions program which is being established at KCHS as well as future plans for the facility. He told the supervisors KCHS is doing well and is now focusing on maintaining and improving.
