Minden Whippet senior Marshall Chasek signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his track and field career at Nebraska Wesleyan on January 31 at Minden High School.
Chasek said, “Nebraska Wesleyan was the first school to recruit me so I have known the coaching staff for a while now. I could immediately tell the emphasis they put on a family aspect to the team by how they were recruiting me and I could tell that they cared for their athletes off the track which is the support system that I was looking for.”
Chasek said he was very blessed to receive a lot of fantastic scholarships from a lot of schools, but the other top schools he was considering were Concordia University, Doane University, and University of Nebraska-Kearney.
