The Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees met November 28 for their monthly meeting.
Renee Grams, APRN gave the medical staff report. She told the board the clinic has been busy with several cases of pneumonia. There has been a longer wait on rooms because of the added time of lab work associated with the cases, but the staff is working through it.
Jim Edgecombe provided the quarterly KCHS Medical Fund update and answered questions. Approximately $16,000 before expenses was raised at the annual Wine, Wreaths, and Whimsy event. County Supervisor Wayne Anderson suggested looking into participation in the annual ‘Give Where You Live’ promotion in the future.
