The Minden City Council held two meetings April 16. The first was a special workshop meeting to discuss City infrastructure improvements for Downtown Revitilization (DTR) grant funds.
Brenda Jensen and Luke Dutcher from Miller & Associates provided a brief recap of how the project got started. The City of Minden was approved for a Phase II Downtown Revitalization Grant and infrastructure improvement was earmarked for a portion of those funds. Along with the condition of the sidewalk, the west side of the square was chosen as the target area for improvement because of the type and number of businesses located on that side. Because government funds are being utilized for the improvement, ADA compliances need to be met.
