Walking the halls of Minden High School, students, staff, and visitors can easily identify teachers’ classrooms thanks to the latest project of the MHS Tech Club. Instructors Rick Chramosta and Bob Carlson, along with their students, recently finished the construction and installation of 33 LED lit classroom and office signs in the high school.
“It’s a really neat project,” Principal Don Hosick said. “It really sets off our classrooms and it’s another nice addition for our building.”
Inspired by the exit signs hung throughout the school, the classroom signs feature a similar design. A wooden base holds wiring and LED lighting that shines down on an etched rectangle of plexiglass. The glass features the name of teachers or staff associated with the room beyond and the image of a Whippet.
