Pivot irrigation equipment is commonly used throughout Kearney County to aid in farming. The technology helps regulate watering to raise a bountiful crop, but when that equipment fails, farmers call in experts like Justin Betty to get them back in the fields.
Betty is the owner of Nebraskaland Diesel and Repair LLC. The business provides services associated with diesel engine machinery. Although farming irrigation equipment isn’t the only thing Betty works on, it marks a large portion of the work he does during peak growing season.
“I do quite a bit of irrigation power unit service. I also do a little bit of semi truck work that would be ag related too. Sometimes I get into working on loaders and scrapers at feedlots, dairies, and farms too,” Betty said.
