Sara Casper - August 03, 2012

Sara Jeanne Casper, 90, from Hildreth, passed away on Aug. 3, 2012, in Minden.
Jeanne was born on Feb. 10, 1922, in Hildreth to Dr. Harold and Genevieve (Davenport) Neville.
She grew up in Hildreth and graduated from Hildreth High School in 1939.
Jeanne attended Kearney State College and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, worked at the FHSA offices in Alma and in Blair, and assisted her father in his dental office in Hildreth for 25 years.
On May 21, 1965, Jeanne married Erwin D. Casper (who passed away in 2004), during which time they lived and farmed northeast of Hildreth and were active in the Hildreth community.
Jeanne was a member of Eastern Star and the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hildreth.
Survivors include her sister, JoAnn Sexson of Sun City West, Ariz.; nieces and nephews, Shelley Shonkwiler and husband, Dave, Karen Duffy and husband, Steve, Kerry Sexson, all of Phoenix, Ariz., Gene Casper and wife, Dona, and Merv Casper, all of Hildreth, Aldean Casper and wife, Wynona, of Tucson, Ariz., Arlene Loschen and husband, Gerry, of Kearney and Janice Wass and husband, Ned, of Vonore, Tenn.
Jeanne’s nieces, nephews and their families adored her, will forever appreciate her generosity and have a wealth of vivid memories of their beloved Aunt Jeanne who touched and enriched their lives.
Services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hildreth on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. with the Revs. Steve and Patti Byrne officiating.
Burial of her ashes will be in the Hildreth Cemetery prior to the memorial service.
Jelden-Craig Funeral Home in Hildreth is in charge of arrangements.
