Bradley Nichol - September 11, 2012

Bradley W. Nichol, 55 years of age from Minden, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Brad was born on July 13, 1957, in Minden to William “Bill” and Carolyn (Hansen) Nichol.
He grew up in Minden and graduated from Minden High School in 1975. He attended Kearney State College.
He later moved to Oregon and then to Corpus Christi, Texas and worked as a plumber. He moved back to Minden in 1995 to work with his brothers, Jay and Todd in the family plumbing business, “Bill’s Plumbing.”
He was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden.
He enjoyed Husker football, the Dallas Cowboys, deep sea fishing, being on the beach, golfing and NASCAR.
Brad had a dry sense of humor, he loved being around his family and he also loved to cook.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn, of Minden; brothers, Jay Nichol and Todd Nichol and wife, Jenny, all of Minden; niece and nephew, Payton Nichol and Cameron Nichol; and aunt, Bobbie Nichol of Minden.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Nichol and his grandparents.
Memorial services were Sept. 17 at the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden with the Rev. Daniel Davis officiating.
Burial was prior to the memorial service at the Minden Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Westminster United Presbyterian Church or to the donor’s choice.
Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden was in charge of arrangements.
