The Kearney County Board of Supervisors had a short meeting September 4.
A representative from Congressman Adrian Smith’s office was scheduled to update the supervisors on what is happening in the legislature, but was unable to keep the appointment. The board was told they could speak with someone from Smith’s office during the mobile office scheduled for the next day at 1:00 p.m. in the courthouse assembly room.
Supervisor Wayne Anderson informed the board the Building and Grounds Committee is looking at using the fourth floor of the courthouse for storage. Craig Lupkes will build shelving for the area to create a designated storage space. Anderson reported an estimated cost of $1,300 for materials.
