Juniors Fall To McCook, 14-6 |

The Aurora Cooperative Junior Legion team concluded its 2018 regular season at 9-9 on July 2 traveling to McCook to take on the McCook Juniors. McCook was able to rally with 11 runs in the fifth inning to earn a come-from-behind 14-6 victory over Kearney County. Ben Edgecombe took the loss giving up nine runs on five hits with a strikeout and a walk in one-third of an inning. Braden Bates and Kristian Eiklor were the first two pitchers for AC. Bates went two and two-thirds allowing only one hit while striking out two and Eiklor pitched one and one-third allowing four hits and three runs. Theo Huber came into relieve Edgecombe pitching one-third allowing one hit and one run. McCook got on the board first with a single run in the bottom of the second to go ahead 1-0.
