The Minden Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation for a string of three burglaries that occurred in early morning hours of Monday, November 25.
Minden Police Chief James Huff told The Courier that there were break-ins at three locations in Minden including the Minden Cemetery maintenance building, Big John’s Ford and the Evangelical Free Church.
The suspects stole gas from the cemetery shed after opening and damaging the door. The second and third was taking an undisclosed amount of cash from Big John’s Ford and the E-Free church.
Both Big John’s and the church burglaries were indicated by MPD to be connected. In both instances the businesses were both ransacked after the suspects gained entry.
Chief Huff said if you have any information regarding these crimes to contact the MPD at 832-1150.
Also as a reminder to citizens if you see any suspicious activity to call and report it to the MPD.
